Not too sure, but Some of ma zoas are not opening all the way like they did a few weeks/months ago
are they still on the glass and over the LR after the lights come ?
Most of the bad asterina stars are hiding fast when the lights are on.
if you never saw them over coral I'll bet they are good then, and multiply because of what I say above

So just watch them, if they aren't over any of your corals, they will do good job for you ;)
It's easy to get rid of them just reduce the food, or take them off by hand. That only if you preffer, but for me, they are doing really good job

I have no use for them especially after they took down a colony of bam bam zoas
Remove daily with a small net and eventually they’ll all be gone

I got a Harlequin 2 days ago, because of all the asterina in my tank they just appeared in mass. Hoping the shrimp will take care of the issue before they take out any corals.
Where did u get urs shrimp from and for how much?

just have on mind about the shrimp: once it can't find food anymore it will struggle to death if you don't feed it. Some people are buying chocolate starfish and cutting legs to feed the shrimp (it's fast growing starfish and cheap usually and they keep it in the sump away from the shrimp).
But if you don't want to feed it that type of life food or you don't have who to give it after... (you know what's next)

Local LFS, I think it was $25. It’s a pink one, they had a couple more, and a pair, one pink one blue. Almost got those 2, but was not sure how long before they would run out of food
my only fare is i have a Xmas wrasse...i think he ate my two peppermint shrimps...i have a cleaner shrimp that he doesn't bother
