Interesting. Well he‘s not doing any harm as far as I can tell. It fascinates me when I find a new inhabitant in my tank and its been like 6 months since I’ve added anything.
I like them. Just be wary they will multiply like crazy. I like having them but now they have eaten all my coraline and are getting inside my pumps so just be ready to control their population at some point. Removing them is easy.

Are these asterina starfish really hard on zoas? I just set up a 32 bio cube and had one hitch hike in on a piece of live rock with coralline on it. Just curious if I should let it stay or remove him.

I remove as I see them appear. Lots of talk here about populating quickly so I don’t want to reach that point.
A lot of people say that they are ok and good for the harlequin shrimp. Just not sure if I’m gonna remove it or not. May lose it anyway considering my tank hasn’t fully cycled yet.
