Astrea snail releasing cloud into tank

So, I can't get a picture but an astrea snail is sending a darkish cloud into the water (the tank is clear), it's very faint and it's the only one in there. I just added a fighting conch if that helps. Thanks

Yeah I was reading stuff along the lines of that, it's just he isn't "standing up" and the stuff is coming out at a steady rate. Also it's the only one in there. Is it still normal?

Also now I can see it coming out of a tube off the snail

Yes even if it is only one, the one in gif is pretty small and a paper shell, it was at it for a while. I have other snails that make bigger clouds.
