Hi,
Recent ICP results show 99mcg/l of Zinc, 43.47mcg/l of iron, and 1.36mcg/l of nickel.

I'm pretty sure this maybe from dosing chaetogrow in an effort to get it growing, I made the mistake of dosing it without testing for any elements this was supposed to help to get chaeto to grow so lesson learned. About 6 ml a day skipping a day now and then for a little over a week.

My question is, will some water changes be enough to get this down and/or should I invest in some meta sorb as well? I searched some others who have high zinc, but none of them were nearly at the high levels I'm seeing.

I'm running a red sea reefer peninsula 500/137g.

Most corals are doing well, but montipora, chalice and platygyra have taken a turn for the worse lately.

1ppb Ni is not unusual. Zinc and Iron are indeed likely included in chaetogrow, but neither of those values are very concerning. I'd stop additions though - and expect those values to be decreased from natural processes in a couple of weeks.
just my interpretation.

Thank you @taricha, I'll hold off on the metasorb and stick to water changes.
