I've been struggling with the idea of letting this go now that I've gone back to metal halide. It's a absolute PAR monster and I know I won't find another like it but I don't want to store it either. The housing is relatively clean with minimal scratching. All 5 fans works and I have new back up on hand. I bought this fixture used form a friend last year. I installed new reflectors at that time. The acrylic has minimal scratches, mostly just the lines from sliding in and out for lamp changes. No rust. All sockets are in perfect shape. This sucker will grow anything you want and is great for deep dimension tanks with acropora/high light animals in mind. I recently installed 2 coral plus lamps last month. I have 2 brand new ones I have yet to install. The rest are about a year old @ 8 hours a day, fans running 1/2 power. I'd say there may be about 6 months left according to BRS video but wouldnt' be a bad idea to swap the remaining 6.
It comes with the lamps I have and ATI hanging kit.

Lamps with near a year;
2 x G Tropics
4 x Blue Plus
2 x G 14k
2 x Pure Actinic

4 x Coral plus, 2 x 1 month use and 2 brand new

This is the 10 lamp; 48x22" ATI Power Module. Non hybrid (no leds). Hard to come by these anymore, let alone 100% functioning and clean.

The jack went bad on the junction box for the low volt fan. I hard wired it in and it works perfectly. Selectable low volt power supply for fans; so you can control speed. I use velcro to keep it closed, the stickers have worn out. That and 1 screw's head on a fan cover broke off. Those are the two flaws with the fixture.

Price: $450

do you hang it by toggle bolts to sheet rock ?
No I didn’t trust that but also couldn’t access the area from my crawl space and the rafters didn’t line up. I painted a 1x4 to match the ceiling and mounted that across the rafters. Then screwed the hanging kit to that. I’d estimate it near 45-50lbs.

I'd love to offer three benjamins for it.

Very well kept it looks like.

Hanford, CA - That would be a pretty long drive for ya to Garden Grove, CA. 440 mile round trip. If you want it that bad I'll work on the price for ya. Shoot me a PM if serious about making the drive.

Thanks

Matt

I have a 8 bulb fixture no one wanted too. People are so into LED these nowadays. they have no idea the benefits they can get from ATI for SPS. So sad.....................

Right?! I’m getting back in the hobby after 6 years out due to work. First thing I bought was a used 8 bulb 24” dimmable ATI. And I’m now working on getting custom arrays made so I can add a NanoBox retro into it. I’ll take 2 bulbs out and have 6 LED arrays and 6 T5 bulbs over a IM 50 Lagoon. It’s gonna be epic.

This price is insane. I can’t believe it’s so cheap. People don’t know what they are missing using only LEDs and not T5.

I hear ya guys. It's hard to beat that blanket of light t5s put out. The powermodules really throw some light out too. If I don't sell it I'm fine with having one heck of a backup or a light if I set up a 4-5' growout system some day.

Oh man, the things a beast. Maybe 50lbs if I had to guess. Shipping would be pretty crazy, that's for sure.

I shipped a 36" 6 bulb across the country. It wasn't that bad honestly. $75 or so insured. That was 5 years ago so you will likely be $150 or so. But for that light and that price he would still get a heck of a deal. Pack around the bulbs with newspaper and put the splash guard back in. All my bulbs made it fully functional.

Did this ever sell?

If you're willing to ship I'd keep it as spare for what you're asking.
