My new Magnifica nem is doing really well and thankfully has stayed put. My 2 clowns love it of course.


I added 2 small LED spot lights above the nem a 6500k 16w and a full spectrum spot light as many magnifica nems do seem to enjoy more daylight spectrum supliment light.

Frozen raw foods from my local UK supermarket. Scallops, clam, squid, shrimp.
I get 3 trays of them for £10 don't feed them every day so last me ages.

Ordered an Orphek 120 uv/Violet reef bar which should be here in a week or so. I am.going to replace my 120 day plus with it. Hopefully this will improve the coloration of reds blue and purple corals like my Montis. We shall see.

Only with a nano tank without a sump.
All the differences I noticed were back in the day after around the first 10 years not using Oxydators.

Noticeable clear water was the first thing I noticed esp as I don't hardly ever use carbon. I don't mean bits in the water as I have them due to the fact I don't use prefiltration. Just clearer.
Then fish seemed more alert and active even colouration seemed more vibrant.

New video taken this week. I have had to frag some corals due to damage between them. I have 2 frag racks of them in the tank.

FTS video just taken through one of the lenses of my D-D orange filter glasses. Although far from perfect as they remove too much of the blue to be perfect.
