Hey all. Question for you All. I have 4 head torch. A bubble coral and a hammer. They are all in the same general area. Suddenly after two months the hammer is not opening. But the torches and bubble are thriving. Any thoughts?

Alk and po4 are a little high

How close to the torch and bubble coral is it?

Bubble coral actually get really really long sweeper tenticles.
The bubble is further away. I’ve seen them get long. And flow goes opposite. The torch is closer and up flow. But has been all along.

Great shots guys, definitely room for some more coral!

Got the water station all set up for the lagoon. Trying different di setups as we have terrible water with our well.

Also put an Achilles in the lagoon. It will be the only tang in there and will definitely be the boss.

Got our first spec of coraline as well :zany-face: :star-struck::face-savoring-food:

I'll have to start documenting my reef again. I let it get out of control and I'm honestly somewhat embarrassed by the algae right now... but I've got a big WWC order coming in tomorrow, and I finally got my wife enjoying the tank enough that she now helps out with maintenance... even if that help is limited to reminding me to do a water change like it's a regular household chore. And feeding the kitchen tank.

But here's an old picture of both tanks in the same frame:

I'll get some more recent pictures tomorrow while I'm putting in the new corals. My algae shame shall be documented for all to see!

Algae is part of the journey. I’ve been battling GHA for about a month. New corals will look amazing in there. Can’t wait to see it.

Hey mhamilton, what's the reefpumpkin21 badge for? Never seen that and all I can think of is it's something with pumpkins :D
He he, it was from the reef themed pumpkin carving contest. I did an anenome with a clownfish pair. I'll have to step up my game this year and be more creative. I picked the safe choice last time.
