I have thrown a few more dollars on the build since my last update and as of today, the tank is officially wet!!! I started adding RO/DI over 24 hours ago and plan to leave it running non-stop for days. I added a 25' extension hose to the RO/DI output which worked out really well. And the Pukani rock will be ready to add to the tank soon too. It has been sealed in almost complete darkness for about 11 months now.

Yes indeed. The Pukani rock was hand selected for my build and each piece of rock is extra large in size. One piece was so large that it ripped a whole in a brand new 44g Brute container.

Very nice! I decided it would be much easier to do the water test first, then add the salt mix later. My water level is slowly rising too.

Thank you and yes I am the same way ... I was thinking it would be easier to trim the shims with the tank being full of water to keep them in place. It is going to be tricky as the shims are large too.
