I figured I'm far enough along now to start a build thread. Thanks to everyone's generosity here this is the progress I've made on the new 120. There's still a lot more to do, I'll keep the thread updated

I started to laugh. You built the stand into the opening. So you have to walk around it a bit from kitchen to living room. I would forget about it blocking the passage and walk right into at least once a week.

I started to laugh. You built the stand into the opening. So you have to walk around it a bit from kitchen to living room. I would forget about it blocking the passage and walk right into at least once a week.
It's a tactic, now when people come over they're forced to look at the tank first;)

The doorway was 8 feet wide, I've actually had half of it blocked off for at least the last 14 years so fortunately we're used to it

Just incase anyone is wondering what the gate is for, it's to hold back the guard dogs. I made the gate a couple years ago and modified one section to fit the new stand, I'm thinking of repurposing the other section to cover the sump
