not sure ,what pump is it,might be able to tell??

I bought this pump and this ‘thingy’ since I could attach them both to a flexible hose. I will get the flow right then in a few hours sometimes 30 mins the flow has reduced to a little trickle and today a few drops. I then have to open the ball valve completely open to get it flowing again turn it back down and then place it back in the Kreisel. Then it does it again and I have to repeat the process. Even the brine shrimp in the Kreisel were dead but the ones in the tank were not

Is the pump really close to the bottom of the Kreisel tank? Maybe it doesn’t have enough room to keep the flow constant?

seems like is deep enough,is the controller on pump failing,now is your chance to do trial and error,sounds to me pump is dialing down itself??

Thought about that too and moved it back problem still happening

All points of contact have barb fittings except right here. I did not use any glue or anything. A drip comes out every so often. Could this be the reason something else

I don’t know maybe sand is still being sucked into the pump or is stuck in there but don’t think so because when I open the gate valve it flows out pretty strong then I have to turn it down

Yes a little bit a lot before propping the pump up on some rocks

No it does not look like more sand is entering/collecting in the Kreisel a few grains when I have to open the gate valve to get the flow started again but don’t think that is the problem almost like it is loosing suction or something. Will check the controller when I get off work in the morning

Would you consider using a sponge filter? This is what we use for raising freshwater shrimplets

Yes it doing something exactly like that like it is loosing suction or something

Could not find dot the spot. Dot the spot is in a much better place now. Going to keep the tank going and keep some brine in there so I can improve the tank for the next batch

Absolutely. It took Aquatic Technology two years to figure out how to raise them to settlement. I am certain this journey will be long with many peaks and valleys along the way
