Baby harlequin shrimp just born!

That is one big sweet baby! My cat Benz (stray found by the wheel of a Benz and so tiny had to be feed with a syringe) has to play with whatever I am doing with the tank and it does not help that this cat loves to play with water. Benz as a baby

Hey you got yourself a regular xmas ornament hahaha very cool. Wife wants a cat but I'm allergic. She's probably going to bring one home and I'm just going to have to deal with it. She's been on kittens pretty thoroughly lately

Missed the last birth was at work. Molting and fertilization occurred on July 4th so in about 18 to 26 days (July 22nd-July 30th) new larvae should be released. A picture of mom and pop early this morning

I know I don’t want to miss the next birth. The eggs started to hydrate with water making the female look extra big but I was already scheduled to work

Decided to add my sun coral in the tank to see if the filter could handle the feedings. So far so good. If it can handle what I feed the sun coral it should be able to handle the shrimp and their food. Or at least that is what I hope

I just saw the babies. The mom briefly shook the appendages under her belly and got to see them for about a second. They looked like little brown dots all lined up in perfect rows. It was very cool!

They are not quite ready to be born kind of like a baby still in the belly. Lol they are still ‘marinating’

Same here hopefully I am not at work and miss it again. The Kreisel and the sun coral are going good no cycle rock sand and filter media came from the display tank
