so here we go again after a couple years later after having to shut my tank down, i finally have a new tank. previous builds can be seen here for reference

anyway all the sand, rock and most equipment from the previous builds will be used in the new smaller tank. so come and join the fun as i not so much "build" out my new tank but assemble and add fish to it.

So a little QA issue, on the top off chamber they didn't take out one of the spacers they used when siliconing the sump together. It doesn't leak by if the spacer is in place, just annoying.

Also there is and and some water in the tank and I'm starting the aquascaping process

Well almost had my skimmer adjusted properly and then I turned the adjustment valve the wrong way and now my tank is full of microbubbles

Anyway next step is to order some pods and give my pod-u-lation (copyright and trademark) a good head start

Having some troubles with my aquamaxx co-1. I bought it when they first came out, due to the fact it looks like a rocket ship, and I don't know if they have changed the design un the past 6 years or so but there are some serious design flaws. The pump.is.in the was on some of the screws and you can't tighten everything down and leads to a lot of microbubbles. It's also has a loud feed pump. The last two issues weren't a problem with my 120 as there was room in the sump to compensate for the microbubbles and the stand absorbed all the sound. With this smaller stand and sump I can't keep the bubbles out of the display and the noise is horrible. Thinking of going skimmerless
