So here's the clearview lid all unpacked and on the tank

As you can see from the images it's about 0.5 to 1 mm too long to fit perfectly. This is probably more due to the lid being made in US customary units and the tank being metric than a manufacturing issue. That being said its a beautiful lid and I'm going to sand it down so it fits properly (maybe?).

so heres the drawing form clearview for the cover i have with the corrected dimention for the matine x 60.2 so you dont have to do any sanding*

lid1.jpg

*not responsible if you still have to sand a little due to variations in clearview lids and/or waterbox aquariums manufacturing processes

Well my wrasse appears to be in good health
20210713_172123.jpg

But my signal goby is DOA. I blame liveaquaria.com for the sh*tty butt p*ss poor packing job they do and fedex for leaving then in their warehouses for a total 14 hours and delivering the package after the guaranteed delivery time.

I have always lived in small areas where the nearest stores are 250+ miles away and online is the only way to get stuff and I've never seen the mortality rate that liveaquaria.com has. As a matter of fact they're the only ones I've ever gotten something DOA from and it's been 66% of the time.

Rant over

This pintail fair wrasse is awesome, beautiful fish. It's also not skittish like other wrasse I've had. Cleaned my glass and he was out the entire time, most of the other ones I've had hid in the sand for 3 days after

Here's the tank under whites. Makes it easier to clean this way

I am going to start dosing phyto here soon to see if it helps with not having to clean my glass as much
