Hi all I have been out of the saltwater hobby for over 7 years and got the itch back. This is my diy setup I took a 33 g tank and cut it down I love the lagoon style tanks and just had to have one . My setup is a 20 ish gallon display tank with 20 g sump with diy hybrid light I welded up . I hope you guys can help my out with a few questions

Welcome back! Nice DIY work! If you’re comfortable sharing, it would be nice to hear more about how you cut down the tank and made the lighting supports.

Here are a few pics of the light and adjustable holders I made. As for cutting down the tank I took the black rim off marked were I wanted to cut it scored the glass and snapped it off and silicones the rim back on
