Also, I have been contemplating a UV in our build. I've heard pros and cons. Mind sharing your thoughts on what you'd do with a 93 cube?

Unsure what a Space Invader is, I need to get out more.

With regard to UV, I have no clue what to put in an 93 (lucky dawg). I will add though that I see reduced algae, increased water clarity, with no disease issues (knock on wood).

Thank you. :)

Ahh!!!! I had no idea you started a build thread!!! I'm really excited to see how the mangroves go. This is fantastic!

Thank you Drew.
Mangroves grow a lot slower than corals. Must resist urge to mess with that tank.

It's looking great! My being busy is one of the best things that ever happened to my reef tank. ;)

Finally leaves. Talk about slow growers. Dosing Iron seems to be helping.
Love this pair of clowns, the clowns have grown significantly yet very little aggression compared to other Maroons I have had.
Duetto ATO has worked well thus far.
Couple weeks and the tank will be 6 months old. Progress has been slow, but steady.

What in the world are the pods doing?
In all my years in the hobby I have never seen copepods line up. There are so many pods that I see exoskeleton molts floating around.
And Smaug mugging for the camera and or begging.

Jan 3rd to 3/21/20. Rasta.

Forest Fire Digitata, almost lost this piece in the display under LED. I moved the coral into the macro, mangrove tank under MH and it sprang back to life.

In light of current circumstances I have not indulged in any livestock purchases. Finally got my chem under control, 7 months in uggg:confused: lost 1 coral.
I increased the Viparspectra to 90% and increased photo photoperiod to 10 hrs.
Knock on wood no algae issues. Significant infestation of varied types of feather duster.
Duetto ATO has been reliable.

Bad fish images.

Removed a large rock, it took the tank a couple weeks to settle down afterwards.

Thank you for viewing.

I agree! Any aggression between the Maroon and the Coral Beauty? I hear Clowns sometimes pick on them.

Looking good Cheryl.

Thank you. ;)

The Maroon and Angel do not tussle much. Now the Dottyback and the clown is a different story. The clown would love to get a hold of the Dottyback, luckily the Dottyback has bolt holes.

The female clown has moved the sand and pebbles to the front of the tank one mouthful at a time. She has cleaned out almost the sand from behind the rock work. There are piles of pebbles up front. She has quite the personality.

Three weeks ago I did a total clean on the IM 14 algae tank. Afterwards my neon Dottyback was no where to be seen. No sign of him, not in the back compartments. Pretty sad about it.
Did a total clean again this week. This tank grows a lot of algae thousands of copepods. Moved the rock around and out came Smaug. Three weeks trapped in a rock. Blows me away.
I am getting corals from Boom Corals tomorrow. Scrambled Egg, Bam Bam, Candy Apple Reds Zoanthids. And a Birdsnest, yeaaaaaaa.
