Had a short power outage yesterday at about 11:45am-2:00pm. Got paranoid about my aquariums but esp. about the two reefs . Fortunately short lived and things seem basically fine. Here’s a few shots I took a short while ago. Bumped the lights a bit briefly for the pics.

What's cool about 3D printing is I've had two revisions that did not make it to print. One that has and it's fine but I see room for improvement. I also modified it to where I won't need supports and it will save time and filament.

Well the Sky King rtnd suddenly. Everything else looks ok. Rocks got pretty fuzzy. I’ll hit with some Fluco when I pick it up for the other tank at the end of the week.

Glued a few Acros into place this past evening. Tanks looking a little better overall. Panicked earlier today when I couldn’t see my Jawfish who’s been pretty visible. Needless worry. As soon as I put a bit of food in they came right out.

So. I decided the tank needed a round of flux rx. Worst decision ever. Lost quite a few of the Acros and both Stylos. I don’t think it directly killed the the corals, just a huge spike in nutrients and in such a small tank threw things way off chemistry wise. Took most of the corals into the 60. Tank has now settled down and a 15% water change and 10% change have helped quite a bit. The tank is reimagined as a mixed reef with some Acros and mushrooms plus a few types of lps.

Sorry for lack of updates. The tank is in a modest mess right now. I think I have Dinos and going to do a total overhaul. I found a Mantis Shrimp after new live rock delivery in the big tank. So I think my plan is going to be to make this tank its home and relocate the Jawfish and Hectors Goby into the 90. I still want a few corals in it but I might just start a new thread if my plans work out.
