New pics. The return pump arrived. Working nicely. Might not put the mighty jet in when arrives . Save it for a backup.

Which one? I guess it could have been the older version Nicrew? I never tested PAR but I was only running a 30 watt, full blue and 1 button click on the white/red/green so 10-15%? It grew Leptos, GSP, and Stylophoras. Monti Caps grew for a while and then turned black and died.
I have the big ones with three light discs on them. I run a couple over a tank and they're great, but I don't like the color rendition. Too many reds and the light looks purple to me. You can only adjust the white and blue channels, but if I could dial back the reds then I would use a lot more of them.

See mine is blue and white/red/green. I can turn on blues only, whites only, reds and greens only, or all colors individually controlling the blue and then white/red/green. Or something like that.

Completely cleared. Wondering if I should add a little more rock. Question is Live or dry? Last pic has it with its Kraken lid which came in this afternoon.

I am a live rock kinda guy... Just makes life easier.
This is going to be an SPS tank right? If you are going to do easy to moderate SPS which is also usually fast growing I wouldn’t worry too much about the height. Six months down the line the tank will be pretty full. I have some regrets of putting a stylo and a porci too high and they have turned into umbrellas for the tank. I had no Idea that those little corals frags were going to explode like they did. Even if I remove them they are encrusted, so they would probably overtake any acros I want to put there.
Maybe bring out the sides into a horseshoe shape?

Mostly SPS. Some lps on the ground floor. Rock shaping sounds interesting. I’ll probably be be messing with them for a bit. And yeah. I’ve been mostly a live rock guy myself.

Few more pics. Just taken . Some have started to show decent PE. Considering the tank is new, even with live rock from the big display, know I’m taking a chance.

I’ve decided, based on the discussions in the SBB thread, to keep the filtering and dosing as a less is more, at least for the moment. And started with Microbacter Clean, since I have it to try to mitigate the diatom ugliest as much as possible. The filter has Chemipure Blue and the cotton filter balls. Dosing with 2 part and a little Acropower. The others I’ll start adding will be Reef Plus and Reef Trace. And that’s it probably.

How long have you had yours? I'm wondering which one is the newer model. If they have the reds and green on separate controls now then I might have to scoop up some more.

January 18, 2021.

It's not the Hyperreef and the controller is different than what it shows on the current version. Mine has W, B, and M for mode. Now the M is for switching between daylight and Moonlight.
