Gulf Live Rock.
Super nice!
What the heck are you going to do with all those frags? That is a going to be A LOT of coral in 6 months, not to mention how much you will have to dose in such a small tank!

Good question. I hope to be able to keep the majority alive for starters. I think I’m prepared for the craziness that’ll coming. Maybe.

Mine came as nothing but a skeleton with a few green spots. It has completely regrew and continues to grow. Very hardy whatever it is.
Well my “hitch-hiker“ coral is doing really well now. I’ve noticed polyp extension and it seems pretty happy.

Here’s a few new shots. Uglies settling in. I am using Microbacter Clean as suggested so hopefully that’ll help a bit. Corals still looking “ok”. Most have polyp extension that‘s fairly good. Going to do water change tomorrow. Added a couple Gonis that were in a darker corner of the big tank and we’re getting upended by snails to boot.

By the way little mushroom is the the Godzilla . I didn’t realize it was gonna be such a baby. But it’s nice and healthy like all the corals I've ever gotten from SBB ( I think I've had 2 go south that wasn’t my fault).

Just do a water test before your water change. you just might not need one. You have a bunch of corals that need a bunch of nutrients. You won't want to be taking that away. Also since you do not have any fish in there any die off from your live rock that is producing ammonia is just food for your corals. If your test show in an acceptable range skip the water change. Also you probably need to test your alk/cal consumption
Just sayin...

Some new shots. Added a few snails for cleanup patrol(a couple Astrea and Cerith each).

I’ve been doing small 2 part adds and a little Acropower plus some Reef Plus for Aminos and vitamins.

So since the last post lost the Crayola Madness speciosa, Space Monkey and Sugar Rush. I did get cred to use but still obviously would rather not lose the corals. The Madness was quite something in particular. And the new light started acting wonky. Fan not working correctly. So getting swap for a new one and return the old. I’ve already told that story elsewhere so no rehashing. Corals still hanging in. Not super happy possibly due to lighting. Still trying to keep up with how fast a nano changes too. Been a while.

Got that one from a Coral-Vault auction
Which is it?

I'd love a Tort, Garf, and probably a Fox Flame.

I think I'm getting close to needing to be done. Maybe a couple torches to put with my Indo Gold, maybe a few more Blastos, Favias, and Gonis, some sand corals like a trachy or plate or both, and just a few more less light hungry sticks.
