Hello,

Looking at this picture and my parameters. Think this is a bacteria bloom?

It does appear to be a bacterial film on the rocks. Just from looking at it, I would not be concerned. I had similar and it comes and goes depending on my carbon dosing regiment.

I think that’s what it’s from, dosing nopox. Which I stopped about 4-5 days ago now. I am currently running carbon.

That nitrate and phosphate is really low for LPS to my liking.
Ugh I know. The struggle to get it higher. I stopped running nopox a few days ago and then before that stopped running gfo too. So hopefully I see hose numbers go up soon. My other system is great and that’s at like .1-.2 po3 and 15 or more po4

Can anyone help me identify what this bacteria is on my rocks? It’s taking over. I’ve never seen this on one of my tanks before.
How would I go about treating it too?

thanks!
