Hi, I have a 60 liter nano that been running for a couple months now, got a pair of clowns, yellow clown goby and cleaner shrimp. Added a banggai today and it seems to be struggling with the flow rate. The other fish all have been perfectly happy, not sure if I’m not giving the cardinal enough credit for its swimming ability or if I’m genuinely stressing it out? Any advice would be much appreciated

Their natural habitat (The Lembeh Straight) is not a high flow ocean battering reef. They are found in calm shallow waters where flow is mostly tidal and usually are hiding among long spine urchins and anemones. If you need the high flow in the tank for coral I suggest creating some rockwork for a place it can find refuge.

My aquarium is SPS dominant with high flow of about 60 turnover. My Bengai cardinals never had problems. I do have sheltering rock work.
