I just picked up a new 45gallon tank along with a brand new 4bulb Tek fixture on saturday, the tank is 36x24x12x.I am going to make it 1/4 frag tank and 3/4zoa paradise.I have some really cool pieces of rock.So what i plan to do is put my really big zoa colonies on the rocks, and have my frags cover the bottom like one huge zoa garden. And then on the other side have a frag rack of what I have for sale.I am going to put water in it on monday =)

I do not think i want to put frag racks in here.lol.I had some base rock,so i put some in just to map out some of my aquascape and it looks sweet.I was thinking about doing an open kind of reef with some cool rocks in tha back to put sps on.

Great looking tank

Just a thought, i think you'll be much happier in the long run going front to back

Blue Plus

AquaBlue Special
Blue Plus

The Blue+ bulbs aren't that blue and running two aquablue specials will not give you much acting pop for those beautiful zoos and palys! Just my 2 cents. :nerd:

the fiji purple will kill it compared to the aquablue plus when it comes to 'popping' colors in regards to fish! i prefer this bulb over the aquablue, but definetly 3 blue pluses..

I like the aquablue special as your 4th bulb. I really think 3 blue pluses is a must though. Not sure about the figi purple, i definitely didn't like it for overall look in the tank but it does a great deal for coral coloration.
