Okay I'll probably end up being the laughing stock of the group but as a newbie I enjoy watching my GSP grow and take over in my tank.

My favorites have to be SPS. Like most I’m definitely a stick head. For me it’s that satisfaction of keeping everything in line and actually getting them to grow and thrive! It’s taken me several years and more mistakes than I care to mention to be successful with acros. That satisfaction I get when I look at my tank is what does it for me. Don’t get me wrong I really like my gonnapora, and my fair share of zoas but this sticks are my pride and joy.

The coral that really took off in my aquarium and which I didn't know grew like a weed when I purchased it and that became the HE MAN of my aquarium is the Pulsing Xenia. I think it is an easy to take care of and beautiful coral that adds movement and life to my aquarium together with my fish. So that being said I say soft coral!

My eyes just always go for the LPS. The colors are so vivid and colorful, they're so fat and puffy, and so intersting and fun to watch eating!! I've had all three types, but I as I said my eyes just gravitate to the LPS! I do have my fave SPS though! Love those Monti's and my Milka Stylo is my favorite! It is so tough, and I love the fat polyps!

as an LPS hoarder may the SPS scene always be dominant, really don't need the prices on these to go up as they are much slower growing less to go around

Got to be soft, 17 years and counting. Did try some lps a few years back but I don't think they liked the presence of so many softies.

SPS all the way!!!. If that are healthy, everything is healthy!!! Plus they seem to be much more angelfish tolerant than LPS. Also, super easy to frag and control growth. Attached is a visual feast

Sps (acros) for me. The difficulty and coloring up, the trading, it gives grief and a sense of accomplishment that other corals don’t do for me. After setbacks over the years, I have tried to just run zoas or lps but the smelly sticks always call me back.

Apparently I'm a normie.

I love some of the big, big fleshy LPS, in particular Trachy, Scoly, Wellso, and Cynarina. Fungia is on the invite list too.

LPS. It's not as difficult as SPS but still as beautiful and cool. Some of them have interesting movements and swaying motions which I love

If it’s happy with my system then I love it be coral, motile invertebrates or small creatures as long as they are not detrimental to my system they are welcome.

I VOTE FOR ALL THREE!!!

One is not “better” than the other. They are all coral!

There should be a choice for all three because choosing just one is limited, silly and boring. Why choose just one? Lame survey.

I am so looking forward to adding some SPS to my 3-year-old tank, but I'm a little gunshy. I will start with something not so expensive, but feel I still have much to learn. Meantime, I enjoy my zoas and my LPS a lot.

All coral are sacred and should be treasured...but sps are my favorite acroporidae in particular. Unfortunately by the time I die do to global warming I myself and many people will see the majority of the great barrier reef in western Australia die off. Which is crippling to me to think our oceans are getting polluted and destroyed at such rates.. we should cherish what we have and pull an ash ketchum and collect em all
