January 31st post. Only been a few days, but getting a deeper purple on the ends already!
Here's my initial pic. Sorry it took me a minute to post it. Took it after three days of acclimation on rack and then glued in place. Best of luck to everyone.
Posting both picture from January to February.
Heater failure. Tank dropped down to 73 degrees overnight. We will see if they recover. All my sps are super pale this morning. Ugggggg!
wheres the ruler pic?
Sorry for the late entry photo y’all, month has been hectic with the first shipment being held for a day and the tank sprung a leak shortly after receiving the replacement.
Took this at my lfs last night while we patch up my system.
Since I’m technically late I should be disqualified but figured I should send the progress photos.
So sorry to hear that I hope they are fine. Luckily 73 is not soooo bad, they should pep back up please keep us posted.
Got mine today!
Thicker around the base and body. More red color. Maybe some nubbin luvin.
Will join this contest very shortly.
My frag will arrive next week with other corals I will get.
Looking forward to it..........
Tank is just 5 weeks old, but I see very good growth already ;-)
Oh crap!! Andre is part of the grow out? I think we already have a winner
Lol, don't scare anyone ;-)
Well I can see if what I think is good growth can now be compared to others which is very interesting for me! Never have a chance to compare truly due to the fact that corals came always from different sources.
So the only growth enhancing thing I do (from my experiuence growth enhancing) is actually keeping my Potassium at 410 with weekly corrections as wel I dose some Strontium daily. Like many know, I share openly what I do ;-)
Also it would be great if folks can share their PAR if possible ;-)
I will. Guess it need mid light around 350 par during peak times?!?
There is a discussion thread also. It’s in the Battlecorals sponsor forum. We are trying to use this one just for pics.
I moved my frag from the plug to rock.
3 days in the tank

Let the games begin ;-)
