Hey Ninja - awesome purchase! you will love the tank. I'm not sure what plastic edges you are referring too? Are you referring to the Eurobrace that glass that goes all around the top of the tank to brace it?

The plumbing was just all from experience of prior builds that I have done, there is definitely lots of tricks and tips and once you get to that part feel free to reach out for any questions you may have. Definitely dry fit all your plumbing pieces. Add me on Instagram if you use that as I will respond much faster on instant messages on there, or you can just put replies here on the build thread and i'll get to you as fast as I can.

Thanks for the follow!

Yup, the eurobrace. Didn't know that was glass. Thought it was just part of the tank lid. I guess I am screwed now with my RMS mount.

The glass euro brace is unremovable unfortunately and it part of the tank, you will compromise the structure of the tank if removed. But I think the RMS mounts can be used for Eurobrace.

You have these mounts correct? https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/multi-light-rms-arm-kit.html

If so, then all you need i the correct length track piece here https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/multi-light-rms-track-ecotech-marine.html

The leak down test was a success, I have drained the tank fully, and have added (4) 40lb bags of Caribsea Fuji Pink sand and migrated the aqua scape structure from the garage into the tank and rebuilt it inside the tank, I think it came out good.

Beautiful rockscape and thanks for adding lbs of sand you added. I bought 40lbs on sale at PetSmart and was debating whether I need another bag. I have another 30lbs in my garage from old tank so I should have just enough.

What do you plan on putting at the very top rocks? Any concerns they are too high for acros?

I had to correct my post, i'm sorry. I said I added (4) 20lb of sand bags, it was 40lb bags of sand.

I plan on putting some acros along the top, it is a bit high on the center structure, so i'll have to trim/frag put some of my slower growing tenius frags up there.

She is getting filled! I plumbed the RO line from the RODI unit directly to the tank and will add salt to the sump to mix it up later.

Halfway mark! I finished up the control board i'll post that up in a bit. There are still a bunch of little things here and there to finish up, setting up the Neptune Apex Trident, the Clearisea Filter Rollers, and Calcium Reactor are next on my list.

Started the cycle with Brightwell Aquatics Microbacter series of products, I dosed according to the directions for QuickCycle Ammonia followed by the entire bottle of Starter XLM, should be good up to 300gals. I will start testing in a few days to see where my levels are at.

Moving onto my next install, the Kessil A360x refugium light which I will mount directly to the stand, I used a m4 tap to create the threads in the aluminum stand to mount the Kessil A-Arm Mount out of sight. It come out pretty clean, and you can't see it when looking at the tank from the front, this gives me full articulation of where the light goes and can slide up/down and swing left/right, the swivel mount allows me to direct the light in different directions as well.

Wrapping up the control board, I had to install another smaller board behind the sump to add some more electronics like the heater thermostats, reef octo controller and the MP40 controllers. I still need to figure out where the dosers and containers will go. I have a bit more equipment to install like the Reef Octo CARX and Clearisea Filter Rollers.

Tank is looking great and the water is crystal clear, hooking up the Trident and then breaking it in. I'll need to start testing my parameters to get the tank ready for fish and coral soon. Testing out the new Hanna HR Nitrate tester and the Hanna Salinity Tester.
