I'm thinking of using this stuff (if i hate it it can be razorbladed off in minutes)

The bottom of the tank seldom stays clean with detritus, coraline algae, and such. It will not stay white for long at all IMO.

Definitely have done white bottoms before, I like the visibility it provides but you do need to scrape the bottom to enjoy it. I would make sure you spray it underside of the tank bottom. You might want to test as it's texture make look different from that side of the glass.

The bottom gets covered in coralline so really won’t look like sand, maybe under the rock it will or in shaded areas

But I got like 5 urchins in a 180g. They are super roombas

I have, I used the limestone look krylon for my pico. I also mixed epoxy and sand and made a fake sand bed on the inside of my 155.

I have some old glass shelving I was going to test the textured paint on

My frag tank has the bottom painted white. I remove everything every few weeks to every 2 months to scrape any coraline off. Most of the detritus gets collected in a few areas and I can remove that during water changes.

I love it for a frag tank because it's nice and clean. My display tank I can barely tell it's bare bottom and I damage enough corals scraping the back wall every week, I can't imagine moving the aquascape around to scrape the bottom. If I had a minimalist aquascape I might consider it, but jamming the tank full of coral and rock is more my style.

I have done that exact paint before. It looks great. Just make sure to let it dry thoroughly or it scrapes off easily.

I've been spraying the bottom of tanks white for years but never tried the particular one you are considering, but I'd guess that would be fine. I usually use Flat White.
I also spray the back of tanks blue: either sky blue or dark blue looks nice.

Here's an old 220 that I sprayed blue and white. (I would have scraped the glass on back and bottom first if I knew I was going to use this pic to show off my paint job!) :D
