Jr'sReef, what kind of pellets are you using? I don't like a smokey taste to my steaks. I tried pork chops one time and we threw them out because we could taste to much smoke.

Not a pellet guy, but I like apple wood for pork. I find other woods overpowering. I think beef can hold up to a stronger smoke.Jr'sReef, what kind of pellets are you using? do you like salmon? it’s delicious smokedI'm guess I'm just weird with my smoke flavor. Love it in brisket, pulled pork and ribs. If I taste a smoke flavor in anything else I don't like it.
