I know the feeling..... Had the same experience with them as well. Had another one with the post office on a LED I ordered weeks ago. Finally arrived on my doorstep today.Fed up with fedex. TSA shipped my order out yesterday to arrive today by 12. I kept checking the tracking and it never left my local sort facility this morning. Usually I will get the "on truck" message so I know it is on the way. They are sometimes late but my experience is if it comes the day it is supposed to, no issues.
So I call FedEx and explain that this is live corals that have a few dollars value. I ask if I can go and pick up from the hub. I am told by the CS agent that this isn't an option.
I do my duty and send TSA a message letting them know the status and this being Friday it could get ugly if they aren't delivered til Monday.
Well I really didn't want to test TSA's DOA policy so I jumped in my truck anyway and headed to the hub. The CS agent there was much more understanding and made a phone call to where the "can" my package was told them my dilemma and took my number.
A few minutes later I get a call that they have my package and where I can come get it. Yaya!
Corals were not effected by slight delay and I can't help but think by being proactive I saved myself and TSA a big headache.
Looking forward to the next sale. Hopefully after the holidays. I won't risk it again.
