Berghia breeding (Aeolidiella stephanieae)

    We've recently gotten back into Berghia again, and we have a lot of egg strings that are hatching right now. Last night we collected a string that looked like it was going to start hatching, and got some good video showing hatched nudibranch, as well as unhatched. You can also see how they swim too.

    This video shows 3-4 day old Berghia. Still very microscopic, they are no bigger than a small copepod.
