Greetings,

I was wondering if anybody has berghia nudibranchs for sale?

I have done some research and it appears that they are successful at eliminating aiptasia.

Cheers!

I was looking at their website yesterday.

Have you ordered from them?

Thanks for your response

I was going to post this same question - I was looking at the Salty Underground but was hesitant about shipping costs. I would prefer local if possible.

Bradt24 - any luck checking out Club Reef?

I ended up using an option I’ve used before, F aiptasia. It does a good job of controlling the population. I wiped out the ones that I can see.

However, if I want to eradicate the problem, I may need to invest in the nudis at some point. Probably in the future.

I'll check that out. I've been using Aiptasia X with limited success - tank looks good for a week but most come back.
I have a useless "Aiptasia Eating" peppermint shimp hiding under a rock. May swing my Club Reef tomorrow and see if they have anything.

Let me know what you find Panda.

Check out F aiptasia.

I had about 10 to 15 of them this past summer. Six months later I had about 10 to 15 again. Not too bad.

But every tank is different. My tank has been established for almost 3 years. Thankfully, I haven’t had plague proportions.

I am lucky. My copperband likes aptasia. Now, majanoes, that’s a different story. Wish the nudis took care of majanos.

If anyone is still looking for these, they are on sale right now through Salty Underground, and if you order $75 (not hard to do), the shipping is free. For example, 12 of the 1/4" nudi's comes out to $75 total, or $6.25 each. When I have found them locally, they are $18-25 each.

Shoot, thanks for posting. I went with reeftown last week. 12 1/4 nudis for 120 including shipping. Yikes. I have seen some demise of the beast anemone. Will keep you posted regarding success. I had 25-50 visible nems, small to mid size in a sump less 65 gal tank.

Never got around to checking for nudibranchs but did pick up some Frank's Tanks's - F Aiptasia @ LE Corals this weekend. Killed quite a few today - hoping this may be a longer term solution.
