My Damsel Humbug Dascyllus is indestructible, but very aggressive, so not my favorite. I Inherited it from a friend over 10 years ago, changed tanks and it is still doing well.
My favorites are my Foxface Rabbitfish, 6 lines wrasse and Hippo Tang.
The 7 green Chromis spawn regularly and It is fun .
However, I do not have a reef tank.

My snowflake clown with shot holes as in my avatar is the best. He hangs out chilling and eats well.

Its got to be a Yellow halichoeres wrasse… At £23 absolute bargain always out and about pecking on the rock work… A close second is my Radiant wrasse…

For me it’s a Scopas Tang. Best utility fish I have ( had a yellow that was a nori snob), she was only 60.00 local! I had another fish get ick in the tank and I never saw anything on her! Seems pretty tough unlike most tangs. Great personality, she is a little twitchy when the room lights are brighter than the tank and I walk up to her but once she sees me she does her little feed me dance it’s so cute. Best thing is from a distance she looks a Fade to brown/black color but up close she has the cutest polka dot pattern amd her tail is such a deep black. She is so pretty once she stops zooming around and you can get a good look.

For the money clowns I think they will most likely out live most any thing and they swim through poisonis tentacles. You can put them in a nano or 1000 gallons no matter to them.

In my current tank: my 6 line wrasse.
My dream addition is the Tang Gang.. one day I’ll have a tank large enough that the Tang police will approve

We are talking utilitarian fish with a job to do… it would definitely be aptasia eating file fish and bristle tooth tangs. Both excel at their job! All my fish i currently have are expected to do a specific job to earn their keep
