When it comes to being healthy, nice looking, good tempered, and an asset to the overall vision of your saltwater reef aquarium, which fish is the best bang for the buck? Let's talk about it!

Please consider the health, looks, temperament and activity.

Which fish do you think is the "best bang for the buck" fish?

Diamond Goby. Costed $32 at my LFS (Dallas North Aquarium) ... which is not expensive at all as compared to most other fishes.

Looks great with the irradescent stripes (or long dashes), has the most peculiar body, extremely healthy, and has a great personality. Also a great utility player in keeping sand clean. However, it can't keep up with all of the sand that I have. Likely you will need 2 or more Diamond gobies for a 6ft by 2 ft tank-floor.

Mine stopped its attempts at escaping once it started getting a steady and daily supply of all-you-can-eat Brine Shrimp.
