How big is the tank? What filtration are you currently using? Also what are the inhabitants
Roughly 120g total, yellow tang, maroon clown, diamond goby, YWG, cleaner shrimp! I have a refugium that grows chaeto and another red macro but eventually they get covered in hair algae.. I’ve done a 100% water change and only lowered then by a tiny bit.. very frustrating!

I heard the BRS media is so fine it’s like dust, is that the case?

What I have got has been fine. I put it in the reactor and it rinses clean pretty quick. I just changed it the day before yesterday. I use 2.75 cups at a time.
