If you haven't discovered the miracle that is non-silicone sanitary lubrication for all your plastic and rubber parts, you'll never go back. Hard to remove skimmer or pump head? Lube it. Hard to turn acrylic/nylon threads? Lube it. Ro canister filters? Lube it. Besides the superb battle brush, this is my second favorite tool for aquarium maintenance. Just be careful not to get the silicone version. It has to be food grade like the pictured. It makes maintaining my equipment a breeze, which means I actually do it.
