Hello guys! I‘m setting up a Red Sea Reefer 250 tank ( aprox .90x50x50 cm) and I want the best light possible for a mixed reef tank. I am leaning towards 2 x Radions Gen 5 XR 15 Pro or 1 x Orphek Atlantic V4 Gen 2, any thoughts on that or maybe other suggestions ? Thanks!

We have the Red Sea LED 90 on my daughter's Red Sea E-170, and it is a really great light. I had some Acans that didn't like my AI Hydra HD 26s and put them in her tank, they came back great and colored up very brightly. I have a Birdsnest that in my tank is greenish-blue, in her tank it's BRIGHT green. Red Sea did a lot of research, (look at the videos on YouTube), and found corals use the 360-480nm spectrum more than white and geared the Reef LEDs to that.

I have the XL300 (more front to back, same length and height) and have been running the AP9x and love it. I would keep that as an option at least. Looks beautiful on the tank with a single mount on center overflow on my tank.

I have 3 prime 16’s and 1 XHO 24 inch atinic strip. The primes are dialed back and the xho is running at 66%. I can grow anything and I have a lot of room to crank everything up more if need be. I love this set up it works so well

I have 2 Red Sea 90s on my Reefer 250. I like them. The RS Reef Beat app is great and works with the Red Sea ReefWave pumps as well. I also put 4 90s on my new 3XL900.
I second this. We use two Red Sea LED lights with the Red Sea Reef Beat app and they are great. You can control sunrise/sunset, moonlight, cloud cover, lunar cycle and coral acclimation with the app. It was easy to sync both lights to the app.

I used to use 2 GHL Mitras lightbars on my Reefer 350 and swapped over to 2x ReefLED90's. Later I added 2x iquatics T5 Blue+ (from the UK). It makes a real mess of my photography, but coral colour and growth both have improved. My coral mix includes Acropora and other SPS, LPS and a couple of Sarcophyton. The T5's I mounted on my DD Jump net
