Maybe it's just NJ but most of us here have severe issues with DPA with reef cleaners. I'd stay away personally

Looking for algae eaters for my 300g display. I've got a bit of a hair algae problem. (Lights out on the tank for 10 days has helped a lot)

All the lfs have horrible looking specimens with algae growing on the shells or aptasia even!

Location and quantities of critters appreciated. Snails, hermits, starfish whole crew in one shot would be good.

Reef cleaners, and they are also very helpful and responsive. IE, some crew packages have critters that will crawl out of rimless tanks, and they will work with you to swap to something that will stay in the tank and still do that job.

I placed a order with Reef Cleaners at the end of December. I took a picture of my tank and John put together a package for my tank. Everything showed up alive and well. I did have some die off a couple weeks after the order. I will say I'm very happy with what I got, they took out the diatoms in a few days. I actually added nori rubber banded to a rock every other day so they had something to eat. They are now keeping my GHA outbreak in check. However if buying for a new tank I would go with 50 to75% of what they recommend I feel if I hadn't supplemented their food I would have lost a lot more.

ETA: John was always quick to respond even late in the evening. He also suggested adding the nori after the snails did such a great job.

Have a 220g with GHA problems, currently no CUC in tank to speak of.

Would the below custom quote look like a good start to begin knocking down the GHA?

Anyone have issues with the dwarf ceriths getting into gyres?

I also have Aptasia, and will be ordering Berghia soon, do I need to worry about the hermits or crabs going after them?

158 Dwarf Cerith - tiny cleaners for the tight spaces the other species can't reach
10 Nassarius vibex
29 Florida Ceriths
27 Assorted Hermits
24 Astraeas
34 Nerites
7 Mexican Turbos
6 Pitho Crabs
