I keep adding stuff, now I'm adding 2 MH 250w bulbs soon.
That's why I need a long one since I have two fuge, stuff along back of DT....

I can save a lot by putting in New prongs....That's why...I agree triplite is good rated

Also, if I put a long 15a strip to a 20a outlet, in case of less load Will it burn up the strip?

You may just want to add up your amperage.
It'll answer a lot of questions.
2000w is 16 amps.

A fused / breakers 15a strip will trip before the 20a breaker of the outlet That's another reason to buy new.

I'm thinking this is a good option for behind the DT...from the GFCI 20 amp.

I love fact that it's metered
Are these meters accurate and dynamic?

Tripp Lite Metered PDU, 20A, 28 Outlets (5-15/20R), 120V, L5-20P/5-20P Adapter, 15 ft. Cord, 0U Vertical Rack-Mount Power (PDUMV20) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MNA0B4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_inhtzb74N3CW6

That seems like it would suit your needs, and yes, i would think the amp meter on it is probably pretty accurate.
