I'm ready to give up on aiptasia x. I've spent a fortune and made the problem worse. These things are stinging my corals and looking nasty.

What's the best deal going on them?

100% agree with

I got 4 for my 13.5 and they killed every aptasia in the tank. I should have tried to sell them. I had about 20 when all the aptasia was gone but I had never sold anything on here and was scared lol.

Will they be affected by alkalinity over 12? I know it's high but reef crystals put me there on accident and my corals seem happy.

I am not sure, my alk was around 9.5 when I had them in there. If you have wrasses in your tank they will probably eat them, just a heads up.

How slow we talking about here? 0.1 dKH per hour? Or more along the lines of take 3 hours to drip acclimate no matter what the difference?
At least very slow 3 hour drip..l would also reach out salty underground on how to go about introducing burgies into tank.they are very helpful..on the do's and don'ts

Slow multiple hour drip, and release at night with your flow turned off. Place them onto your rocks. DO NOT put the nudi’s onto the aptasia as they will be eaten by the aptasia. I assure you the nudis will find them.

They can't miss them at this point.
