Starting to get a little out break so I thought I figure out how everyone else deals with this.

Set up a refugium to outcompete the nuisance algae. Some good Macroalgae you can grow are chaetomorpha, calurpa sp., and dragon’s breath algae. I had a bit of gha, and it is slowly starting to get weaker and weaker and more appealing to snails and clean up crew.

Depends on the age / maturity of the tank. New tank, cycling tank, post cycle, etc. Various ways such as but not limited to:

1. Manual removal
2. Properly sized clean up crew
3. Fish such as certain tangs, blennies, or mollies
4. Control nutrients
