At work but will post pics later
I actually had to get rid of dussomieri which got to over a foot and sohal which became too nasty
1. What's your most favorite "BIG FISH" in the

Dussomieri tang and Harlequin Tusk

2. How many "BIG FISH" do you currently house in your reef aquarium? Which ones?

All my tangs are 5” or larger and I have 20 of them plus 12” engineer goby and a few others

Happy Monday and happy BIG FISH week! This week we'll focus our topics around those fish that are big, beautiful and poop a lot. :) What are we calling big fish? Well I guess it's any fish that might grow up to 8-12"+ or so maybe? That's up for interpretation. When I personally think of "big fish" I think of surgeons (tangs), large angelfish, rabbitfish etc. So let's kick it off today with some basic questions!

1. What's your most favorite "BIG FISH" in the hobby?

2. How many "BIG FISH" do you currently house in your reef aquarium? Which ones?

Here are just a couple of my big boys. Dussumieri and Sohal tang each about 12" for reference.

Just like everyone thinks their dog is the cutest dog ever, I think my Dussumieri (Deuce) is the best looking I've ever seen (or really close). He's my fav.

Big fish-wise I have (not all in the same tank) with current approximate size estimates:

Dussumieri Tang 12"
Sohal tang 12"
Gem tang 5"
Black hybrid scopas tang 7"
Chevron tang 7"
Blue Line Angelfish 5"
Regal Angelfish 4"
Bellus Angelfish male 7" (well over 8" with his streamers)
Magnificent Rabbitfish (Pair) 8" each
Foxface Lo 8"
Blue lined rabbitfish 7"
Gold lined rabbittfish 10"
Purple Tang 7"
Blue Hippo tang 6"
Clown Tang 11"
Achilles Tang 7"
Scopas Koi Tang 6"
Hybrid Powder Blue Tang 5"

And most amazing of all is they all get along great. Despite what the tang police etc may say, you can have multiple tangs if you plan it out correctly, pick the right ones to go together, and add in the correct order.

These guys range from between 2.5-4 years with me.
Awesome tangs!!! Sohal is still a good citizen? I have had a couple but once they reached 8 inches they killed any fish they felt like! Thanks Tom

My marble cat shark probably my favorite then in no particular order. Purple tang, thin line dog face puffer, sunset wrasse, red volitan lion, porcupine puffer, panther grouper, miniatus grouper, imperator angel, passar Angel, Queen Angel, French Angel, clown grouper, marine beta. Yep gonna have to get bigger tanks at some point.
