So I realized I have Posted a lot of pictures of the tank and live stock but have not talked much about what is in the tank or the specs of the tank. The tank was purchased at World Wide Corals, @WWC in Orlando. It is a WaterBox Aquarium Peninsula 7225. It features the following

  • Starphire Ultra-Clear Glass
  • Ready to Assemble, No Glue Plumbing
  • All Glass Sump System
  • Includes Filter Socks and Sock Silencers * I use the mesh filter socks easier to clean.
  • UV Coated Plywood Cabinet
I included a link at the bottom if someone wants to look up the actual specs and more options of the Water Box tanks.

I use the sump that came with the tank. I added two mesh filter socks on top to the two that came with the package because I don't like using the regular cloth socks. They are a pain to keep clean. I only have three two things in my sump.

- Reef Octopus Regal 200ss Protien skimmer
- Tunze Osmolator Universal 3155 Auto Top Off
- Return Pump* cant remember the model and brand right now but strong as ****

For lighting I use 2 Older Model AI prime 16HDs and one Hydra 32 which is pretty new. I'm saving up for 2 or three more hydras.

I used live rock from the previous tank but new sand to start this tank off ( about 120 lbs of rock and 80lbs of sand is my guess. I do not remember.

My stock is a mixed reef

For fish I have
- Yellow Watchman Goby

Well I have learned my lesson the hard way. I lost 8 fish in two weeks due to ich and flukes. I know will be Quarantining. I have set up a hospital tank and removed all fish from my tank in order to treat them and let my tank sit fallow for 80 days. it was a devastating two weeks. I lost a lot of my favorite fish.

That’s a wild ride! In the end I think it all worked out for the best, your new tank looks slick as hell.
That big sarcophyton is awesome by the way.
Thanks man! It’s been a very humbling experience and yea started as a small frag I love it and the way it flows.

So biggish update my waterbox. My wife and I decided to sell our house so we can build our dream home in the near future. For now we are moving into our fifth wheel till we find land. But what do you do with a 220 gallon tank while we live in a fifth wheel? Well luckily we were able to keep it at the office where I work. And thank god we did because I would have hated to get rid of it right before reef-a-palozza. Cant wait to go and see what I can add to my tank. Maybe my first torch!!!
