So I know this is more of a reef forum but I have posted on here in the past about my freshwater tank and plus I believe this community is alot better has more knowledge and is more supportive than other forums I know of and are apart of. But anyways so if any of you have freshwater tanks then you may possibly know about imperial tropicals. They are a Florida fish farm in Lakeland Florida family owned for 50 years. Thet are very reputable source. Well I live close to them and a while ago I purchased a attempted triple red apisto pair but it took alot of work and dedication. After alot of care and fresh live high protein food they had their first spawn. Well that spawn was out growing the tank it was in and i had to do something. I took them to my LFS and they were so impressed by the coloration and the health of the fish they offered to pay me a price for fish. I know this doesn't seem amazing but to me it is a huge mile stone. I've put in alot of work and time and care into those fish and the fry to make sure they grew to best of their ability and had the best diet and quality water and things if that nature. So to see my work going noticed and being offered something instead of nothing is huge to me and gives me the more courage to keep breeding and learning more about other fish and potentially breeding them. Sorry for the rant just thought I would share lol. Happy reefing and fish keeping
