so... been a while. I guess the official "move in" day was beginning of Dec 2021. moved all the rock and fish from the 40 gallon. I really need to focus on the tank and do some water changes to get things on track. Finally tested for Alk and it is really low around 6dkh. Made the mistake of not doing QT on some fish and put in some Talbot damsels that apparently had something I didn't notice at the LFS. They have been dying one by one this past week. Such a shame, they were great at first all grouped together and swimming out in front. Fingers crossed the rest of the fish in the tank are OK, they look fine. Strange, whatever it was only seems to have affected those Talbot damsels. The tang I picked up at the same time is good. I really need to organize my life to allow more time to spend on the tank.

here are more pics for an update.

@Pedal Dangit it is looking good. Good clarity and at least in the picture the colors look really good under the hybrid.

thanks. I think most the pictures were with the led only. i just run the T5s for a few hours in the middle of the day.

did two 20 gallon water changes and added a little sodium bicarbonate over the past few days. alk is now around 8 dkh
funny how things seem better immediately , probably just in my head.
