Here it is, all secured and ready to be torn back down, LOL!!! I will remove the plumbing in order to move the tank and reinstall it after the move.

LOL!!! I still have to move it into its final position, BUT, to show my impatience, I made sure my mixing station was full. ;Woot ;Woot ;Woot

I took some pics, in case I get impatient again, and start to tear down the plumbing. ;);Woot:p

Truth be told, last week I thought, not only was my tank build going to come to an abrupt stop, but that I may loose my house due to finances. Thankfully I was able to avert that, but still not sure how it will effect finances for the build. How much everything will be effected will be determined by how quick my mortgage company can reevaluate my payment.

I ended up breaking down the support I had for my 120 gal tank and turned it into a header. I will pick up some Jack Post and another 2x6x10 and build a new support wall for the new tank. The Jack Post have a 4.5 ton capacity at full extension, since I will use 4, I will have a 18 ton support wall under my tank.

If I can get it completed by tomorrow, I will have some pictures of what I did. Basically I will have a header, comprised of 4 2x6x10's, with 4 Jack Post, and another 2x6x10 on the bottom.

I tore down my second Neptune Cor20 for cleaning today. It was very simple to tear down and clean. Thankfully their wasn’t any coraline algae or Vermited snails, so I was just able to use RO/DI water and a few brushes. It was full of detritus though.

My Core 20 ran for a year without cleaning and without a hitch. But I was watching the operating temperature slowly creep up. I was stalling the cleaning because I did not set up my plumbing correctly for easy cleaning removal.

I finally bit the bullet, took it all apart, plumbed in union/ball valves, and cleaned the pump and lines. Man, that pump was so gunked up. Since then, the operating temp has been 56% versus the peak temp of 70% IIRC.

I am pretty satisfied with that pump.

I was hoping to have the support wall built today, but the header is just to heavy for me to build the wall by myself. I will purchase some straps tomorrow and strap the header to the floor joist, and then install the Jack Post. Then I will remove the straps as they are only their to aid me in installing the header and Jack Post.

WELL, me being the type of person I am, stubborn that is, I was able to find a way to get the support up. I still have to reposition the 2 center post, but it’s up. I went from this

That's why I laughed at your post, I knew you wouldn't/couldn't wait. I'm the same way and would have thrown my back out just to prove I could do it ;)

Just placed an order for a 3 piece lid for my tank to Octo aquatics. I will not put wrasses in a tank without a lid, and it has to look good. ;)

Unfortunately, that nails me to a tee. I have done so many things by myself that I shouldn't have, but being as stubborn as I am, I can't take no for a answer. :p ;Jawdrop:cool:;Woot
