I opened up my Clear Water Scrubber box to check the scrubber and found that the screen that the algae grows on has a broken clip. Can I fix it, yes, but I sent a message to the manufacturer, let’s see what they say before I do anything.

I must admit, Clear Water has great customer support. They already responded back to be. In the box, which I did see, but didn't realize, are 2 replacement clips. Great customer service to at least respond to me quickly.

I do love the life that comes on the live rock that I have in my 40b. Tank is going thru the ugly stage, so their is algae, lol!!! Sorry, the pics look better on my phone than here, they are feather dusters, I have now counted 7.

I have been into this hobby for roughly 2.5 years, so still kinda a newbie, but what I saw today makes me realize that we are missing something when going completely dry rock. As the ones that are following along will already know, I added 20 lbs of live rock to my 40b to get it ready for me moving my corals over to it and I also plan on adding at least 40 lbs of live rock to my DT. I have been seeing roughly 3 feather dusters and thought they were cool on my live rock in my 40b, well, now that's up to at least 8 now. I am guessing that they threw their crowns during the curing process and now are starting to grow them back. So I plan on seeing more. Today I just saw a sponge, or what I think is a sponge, spew our either sperm or eggs into the water column. I am geeking out over this because this is what we don't normally see, and never will see with dry rock. I am not speaking against dry rock, I will have almost 200 pounds of it in my 225, but introducing the life that is on actual live rock makes a salt water tank THAT MUCH MORE interesting. ;) ;Happy

it's monday...any tank pics yet?? :)
Trust me, I want to ask where the pics are, but I already conceded that I will not have this tank up and running by the end of the year as hoped, so now its just wait and see when it will happen. I wanted this tank up and running by the end of the year so I could go to Macna, which is in Atlanta, and simply buy some high end frags and take them home daily, but we will see. I still understand what CDA is probably going thru, with Covid and such, so I hit them up in a few days.

It looks like they are still a little behind, having issues with the carpentry dept. It is what it is, but I do have some pics of the tank and stand even though they are not completely finished.

I have to say its the BEST LOOKING tank I have ever seen.;):p

Just moved a Plate, a Acan, a Blasto, and a Chalice coral to the 40b to see how they do. If they flourish then I will move my high end corals to the 40b and get ready to start to shut down the 120 gal tank. Although I do have some SPS frags that I may move to see how they do beforehand.
