BioBase is the only supplement I still dose by hand every day which is tedious. I really want to dose it automatically as well but my pump is only good for fractions of 0.1ml. Currently I need to dose 0.36ml though. So my question is basically: If I wanted to dose it automatically (especially when I am not home for days) I would either have to overdose or underdose now. Or don't dose it as all which for consistency reasons I would rather not consider. Are there any recommendations? I am leaning towards underdosing at the moment but I also don't know what BioBase actually is ingredients-wise. Is there more information other than "there seems to be vinegar in it"? I mean what is in biobase? Is it just vinegar? Are there aminos in it? Any more trace elements? N/P/C?. Did somebody ever analyse it? Yeah it says "organic" but so is Mycotoxin and I hope it's not in there ‍♂️

It would be also nice to know if Triton plans on creating a form of BioBase that can be dosed automatically. A dilution of 1/5 (core 7 / biobase) would be better than the 1/50 it is now.

Tropic Marin® NP-Bacto-Balance might be better for you to use. It cost less and you have to dose more.
Both products are design to add Phosphate and Nitrates in balance to achieve the desired level.

Thanks, I will look at that. But since I still have more than half a bottle of BioBase I will first use up that one. I think I will underdose for now since it is safe. But if anyone from Triton has some more info. Please chime in.

You’ll get a better response from Triton here; https://www.triton.de/en/contact
For my tank I think I have to stop using RowaPhos because it doesn’t make sense to use a phosphate remover and add BioBase ULNS. My tank matured enough that the Po4 and No3 are too low.

Oh I don't use any phosphate remover at all since my N and P is usually either perfect or just slightly too low. I still don't want to resort to BB ULNS since I want the carbon source that is supposedly in BB. Thanks for the attached document. Still they have nothing about BB contents in it. Or I just never found it in there.
