Biocube 32 AI Stock vs Prime

I just installed my AI Prime and I'm not convinced it is more powerful. Obviously its not as dispersed being one single puck vs the very wide led board in the stock hood but it still does not seem as bright as the stock hood was with a small blue led for supplemental light. I never had any par meter but by eye the stock lighting was better? Am I crazy?

The eye can be deceiving, A PAR meter will be the final determination.
