Thank you!Beautiful work !!!
Welcome to Reef2Reef! If your nutrients are low (which I assume since you're running zeo) I'd advice you against raising your KH. At the moment I'm not running zeovit, since I wanted to raise my nutrient levels to eliminate dino's.@blackizzz hello there from Canada, I see u on zeovit forum which I follow regularly. I just started checking out R2R lately. I have been running zeo for about a year in my 120G. I struggle to get good solid growth with my sps & coloration comes & goes. Lately I have been considering allowing my dKH to rise from 7.0 where it is stable for a long time to 8.0 or so to see if that helps with the growth. you have some awesome colours in this thread
Thank younice work

Something exciting is brewing in the shallows
I’ve decided to start working on an upgrade.
I’m going to double the footprint, going from approx. 30x20 to 40x30. New tank is also slightly taller at 17in instead of 13.5-14.
I started the planning a few months ago, by deciding on the measurements and that I wanted to try my hand on siliconing my own tank
Ordered 10mm glass, 3 sides optiwhite/low iron and waited.
Test fitting the glass
Drilling
Test filling was “fun”, but a success!
I decided I wanted to use a smaller profile overflow box for this tank, and landed on the modular marine 1200gph version. Initial impressions without hearing it running, good quality and looks great in the tank.
What I’m going to use as a background I’m undecided on at the moment. I had a custom made one made, based on one of my favorite builds ever (a reef in the sky), but I’m wondering if maybe all black would be a good choice instead. I’ll probably end up test fitting the background and if it looks great I’ll keep it, if not I’ll go tried and tested black.
Next up, stand!
You know me I love a new shallow build!!! ;Drool
Great work, love the new dimensions.
Thanks! I think they’ll turn out really good! My favorite view is through the side on my current tank, and that’s 30” wide.
