I had a octopus back in the early 80’s before I set up my first reef.. they are the most amazing creature you could ever imagine! Extremely intelligent and full of emotion which he expressed via pigmentations that would pulse in different patterns and shades.. It wasn’t long before I could instantly tell if he was hungry, mad, sad, perplexed or curious just by looking at him =). When I would enter the room he would dart to the front of tank and press his face against the glass watching my every move, he hid from everyone else.. lol

A couple poor quality pictures that I took pictures of.. lol, notice the air stone and riser tube for my under gravel filter ;)
