I would move the shroom into a location with less light to help it recover.
It also wouldn’t hurt to do a water change and see if that helps.

Update 9/27/22 -

Finally did a water change, testing, and cleaned the glass. (I also got 15 gallons of RODI water for the new tank)

I only had enough water for 10% but better than nothing I guess

Here's where I'm at

Regarding the mushroom, it's still looking pretty bad. Not sure what I can do about it

Anyways here are some pics of the tank...

Update 10/5/22 -

I finally got around to transferring my 5g into the Studio 12! Pretty simple just used new sand and transferred everything else into the tank. Corals look a little stressed out but besides that it looks pretty good. Not sure what I want to do with the aquascape, two islands is probably what I'll end up with...don't know the configuration I'm going to go with yet.

Almost definitely will get a clown pair for the tank, so we will see how that ends up.

Also going to have to figure out how to re-use my ATO for this tank (I hope I will be able to)

Update 10/12/22 -

My pistol shrimp went missing a few days ago and I didn't find a dead body or anything. Heard some snapping and checked out the back chamber of my tank....

Pesky bugger... back in his tank now.

I have a feeling I need to up the light. The blue hammer especially is not as open as it used to be and it is away from the main source of light.

Update 11/8/22 -

Hi guys!! It's been a LONNGGG time since I last updated you guys on the tank. To be honest, there was not much to update on. I have been kind of neglecting the tank in regards to WC's and testing but it is still chugging on.

This past weekend, I got some new additions to the tank! A pair of clowns and a yasha goby (who has already found his pistol shrimp buddy) will now call the Studio 12 home!

Anyone know what I could do for a lid on this tank? I am looking into one for two reasons: one being that I don't want to end up suicidal clowns and the other being I want to reduce evaporation because as of now it is almost 1L/day of evaporation.
