Blenny Addicts please enter! (ID confirmed: Cirripectes stigmaticus)

[edit - ID confirmed: Cirripectes stigmaticus]

Aloha,

We received a fish in our Marshall Islands shipment today that i immediately snatched up for my personal tank. We've never seen anything like this come in from Marshalls before.

It's mouth structure is very similar to out local endemic Istiblennius zebra which leads me to believe it too is an algae eater.

Here are the pics i got during acclimation. Hope to get more tomorrow at a better angle.

Thanks!
Kevin

Beautiful specimen. It reminds me of the orange or red spotted blenny.

LOL. At first when i unpacked it, i thought oh crap, another random fish... i went back to it because the sun caught the head. I picked it up and immediately called kevin over. We both looked at it for 5 minutes in awe.. the colors are so awesomely random... lol Wait for a side picture... the colors are so cool.

I will ask my exporter to see if they can get more, but this is the first one i have ever gotten!

I had one for a short while. Apparently they don't eat very well.
